Dionne & Aretha all connected?
Cissy Houston is Whitney Houston's mother.
Dionne Warwick is Whitney Houston cousin. Aretha is not related - she's a
family friend (Cissy Houston used to record backing vocals for Aretha).
Does Whitney have brothers/sisters?
Whitney has two brothers - Gary & Michael.
Gary is in fact Whitney's half brother (from Cissy's first marriage). He
worked under the name Gary Garland for many years before changing to Houston.
Who is Whitney married
to?
Bobby Brown (born 6th February 1969). He
first hit fame before Whitney with his band New Edition before going solo. His
second album, "Don't Be Cruel" made him a household name.

Bodyguard & The Preacher's Wife). Whitney contributed three songs to
the Waiting To Exhale soundtrack and although not a Whitney Houston album,
she was named in the nomination for Album Of The Year along with Babyface at
the 1997 Grammy Awards. In May 2000, Whitney released her first ever

called "Silver Spoons". She also made an appearance or two
as Nell Carter's friend on Give Me A Break. In
2003, Whitney featured in Boston Public.

Whitney appeared in a Diet Coke advert early in
her career and has also committed her voice to adverts for AT&T (True Voice) and Sanyo
in Japan (Takin' A Chance).
Has Whitney ever released a
greatest hits album?
Yes. "Whitney The Greatest Hits"
was released in May 2000. The album is a double CD set incorporating 36 of Whitney's
biggest hits and remixes. The Greatest Hits album was originally planned
in 1994 but was put back following the astounding success of "The Bodyguard"
which was still selling very well 18 months after it's release. The album has been
scheduled a few times and was again up for release in November 1998 but was substituted
for My Love Is Your Love as the recording sessions went so well. "Whitney The
Greatest Hits" features four new songs including duets with Enrique Iglesias, George
Michael and Deborah Cox. There is also a new solo song written and produced by Q-Tip
and Raphael Saadiq called 'Fine'.
What's the story about the Remix Album?
It was supposed to have been released in July
1997 but it never happened. No explanation was given. The album featured
remixes of "I Wanna Dance With Somebody (Who Loves Me)", "Greatest Love Of
All", "So Emotional" & "I Will Always Love You" amongst
others. These remixes have since been updated and released on the US pressing of
'Whitney The Greatest Hits' as well as the strictly limited edition box set titled
'Whitney The Unreleased Mixes'.
Has Whitney ever released a video compilation?
"No.1 Video Hits" was released in 1986
with four videos from the first album. The HBO special "Welcome Home
Heroes" was also released world-wide and the "Concert For A New South
Africa" was released in the US.
May 2000 saw the release of
'Whitney The Greatest Hits' on video and DVD.
Which album is "One Moment In Time" on?
The song features on the Arista Records album of
the same name marking the 1988 Olympic Games. It was never featured on a Whitney Houston
album until 'Whitney The Greatest Hits' where it is now featured.
Which album is "If You Say
My Eyes Are Beautiful" from?
The song is from Jermaine Jackson's 1987 Album,
"Precious Moments". It was never featured on a Whitney Houston album and
again finally became widely available on 'Whitney The Greatest Hits'.

Yes, this is true. Whitney & Arista
declined to record the song after it was deemed possible over exposure as Whitney had only
just released her own "Whitney" album.
Is Whitney really the biggest selling female artist of all time?
Whitney Houston is the only female artist
to have an album sell as much as 34 million copies of one album (The Bodyguard). She
is the only female artist to sell 8 million copies of one single (I Will Always Love You).
Biggest seller? Very much so.
In terms of best selling female
artist, the sales of other major selling female artists was elevated almost overnight to
compete with Whitney's figures during the late 1990's.

I have met Whitney Houston twice in 1999.
The first time was fairly fleeting at a signing in London's HMV Records. The second
was backstage at Wembley Arena, London after her 18 September 1999 show. She was
told about the website at that time.
